Brookside Garden lights

The evening of our snow day, we met the Nelsons at Brookside Gardens to see the lights. There were a ton of lights and the snow was an added fun factor, although harder to keep the kids on the path. It was cold but not unbearable and it helped get us in the Christmas spirit. I love Christmas lights!
Rowan had so much fun running around with Connor and Liam throwing snow and laughing like crazy. They were a little crazy but I loved seeing him so happy.
Boden walked around drinking hot chocolate all night long...and then he got lost for awhile...we were walking towards the end and I called up to Grant to make sure Boden was with him, and he said he wasn't so him and Kyle ran back to find him while Gretchen and I stayed with the other kids. I was confident they would find him but started to get nervous after awhile. Just as I was about to go help out, they came back with him...I guess he followed a group into the train display and the group turned him in to a couple of volunteers. Our first time with a lost kid...I didn't like it but luckily it wasn't for too long. It's hard in the dark with a bunch of kids in snow clothes.
