It started out this morning with a "walk day" on the treadmills, and yes, that is the ugliest decorating I've ever done (we used up all our creative juices decorating her kitchen before we headed to the gym) but it was still slightly embarrassing so it served its purpose. Karrie lent Jenny the "Birthday Girl" pin, and we made her wear it all day!
To top off the birthday at the gym experience, our friend Mike, who works at the gym, made Jenny a little sign for the treadmill and then while we were stretching came over with a balloon and sang Happy Birthday, it was awesome!_sm.jpg)
Lunch was every bit as exciting. Some good Mexican food, and obviously she was wearing the birthday pin, so it was no secret that today was her birthday. We weren't expecting much from the birthday surprise, if anything...but soon enough 6 Mexican men came out with this enormous sombrero, a dessert, and their best singing voices. Mid song one guy shoved a dollop of whipped cream in her face and another guy took a Polaroid...hilarious in a "you had to be there" type of way. 
The birthday wall of shame...but Jenny made her way out the door with her picture in hand.
While waiting for our check we had to have some more picture taking fun!
And finally, a good shot of the masterminds behind the birthday surprises. It is no secret that Karrie and I love birthdays... who wouldn't want an excuse to celebrate!!!
We finished off the afternoon with some good shopping and several more "happy birthdays"-yeah I really like to say it!HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY!!! We love you!
You guys are so fun! It looks like it was a blast! Yummy, Mexican food. I do miss it. :)
