Happy St. Patrick's Day! I love little holidays like this. I went to the grocery store and smiled every time I saw someone wearing GREEN. I'm a sucker for days like this. I slept in PJs that I made sure had GREEN on them, wore a GREEN headband and stripes on my shorts to the gym, and broke out the GREEN purse and espadrilles for the rest of the day. The weather was so nice today that I decided to go lay out in the backyard and even wore a bathing suit with GREEN on it! And...I'm not shy to pinch if you're not wearing GREEN, sorry Karrie! Hope it didn't bruise :) Don't worry, I lent her a green shirt for the rest of the day!
Of course, a traditional St. Patrick's dinner, corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes, carrots and onions.

And with the leftovers tomorrow, I'm going to make THESE! I saw RR make them this morning and it inspired me to go make dinner tonight so I could try these tomorrow :)

ReplyDeleteI remember we celebrated St. Patty's Day together a few years ago! We also enjoyed corned beef and cabbage this year and I must say I always forget how much I like it! Glad you had a good day :)
