We started the day off with a walk through a good chunk of the city and shopping and sight seeing down Michigan Avenue. Below is a picture with the awesome bike racks which were very "Davis-like" and therefore I couldn't resist a picture.

Gotta love random pieces of art. A very familiar site and insanely tall!

We made our way down to the Hancock Tower (where you can pay $15 to go to the top and have a view of the city)...or you can take an elevator up to the restaurant on the 96th floor, go to the bathroom, and enjoy a view like this:

Grant had the camera when we both went to the bathroom and when we met back outside I asked if he had taken pictures in the bathroom. He looked at me weird wondering why in the world he would have taken pictures in the bathroom, at which point I realized, the girl's bathroom was WAY cooler than the guys.

Afterward, we enjoyed an afternoon of shopping, LOVED the huge Crate and Barrel, but we spent the majority of our time and money at H&M.

Finally, we had to have some Chicago deep dish at Lou Malnati's (as suggested by Jenny and Sean) and it was awesome. We had some stuffed bread as an appetizer and a pepperoni deep dish for our meal. I had to remember that there are no free refills in the city, so I rationed my beverage and was proud of myself!

The train ride home after a LONG day of walking!
