MM-Provo friends in Davis

I was looking at Jenny's blog this afternoon and saw that she got together with some old friends/roommates from college, which in turn got me thinking about good times back in the day and for memory Monday today, I decided to blog about Jenny and Courtney's trip to Davis, the summer after our freshman year.
I have decided that living in a place where people want to come visit is a pretty good deal, and I hope that my permanent home one day is in such a place. Jenny and Courtney made the long trek from Idaho and Colorado, met in Utah, and crossed the terrible state of Nevada before they arrived at my house, in Davis, California. (Did I mention they were crammed into Jenny's awesome Miata for the entire 10+ hour drive).
Here are just a few pictures from their trip.
In San Francisco, truly one of my favorite cities in the world, with Alcatraz behind us.
Walking and shopping around the Pier.
Ice cream sundae at Ghiradelli Square...mmm.....And in case the ice cream wasn't enough fat for one day, we had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. This is probably my favorite Cheesecake Factory. I seem to sit outside almost every time I'm there and it overlooks Union Square. Fun view of the city!
Back in Davis. No trip to California would be complete without some animal style cheeseburgers and fresh cut fries.
Washing the Miata. Apparently I liked to stick my tongue out in every picture, why I thought it was cool to look like I was licking soap off the car is beyond me!
Thanks for coming to visit and for the good memories :)

  3. YEAH!!! That trip rocked! Seeing you was totally worth the 10 hour drive! I haven't seen those pictures in a long time so it brought back a lot of good memories. I still think that Cheesecake Factory is the coolest one I've been to (in fact, that was my first time there and now I am obsessed). Man, I don't know what I would have done in college without you. I miss you!
