Cunningham Falls

We set out to find Cunningham falls with these strong guys as our guides!
My crew. I was feeling a bit lazy but Alexa wanted to go on an adventure and I am not one to pass up an adventure, especially if she's coming with us...so we set off for a hike and some fun. And it did not disappoint. It was a slightly drizzly day, but we didn't get rained on, and the hike was just the right distance and so gorgeous.

The waterfall itself was I think the tallest in Maryland, but was definitely not the highlight of our hike. My favorite part was just walking through all the amazing greenery and cool big rocks. You are not supposed to get in the falls but of course it was littered with people all over the place which detracted from the beauty of it as well. But we stopped and ate our lunch and then took the shorter trail back to the car.
Apparently Dylan thought the hike back to the car was exhausting ;)
We parked right by the lake there and so let the kids play at the "beach" for a little while before we headed back.
It was such a fun morning adventure!
