Happy New Year! 2019

We had so much fun with our little New Year's Eve party last year, that we decided to kind of recreate it again this year. I hope we can continue this tradition for years to come. We probably only have a couple years left of them not realizing they're not actually staying up until midnight, but that's ok. Even if it were later in the night, I love the idea of good food, good friends and fun different activities along the countdown.
Since it was a Monday, we decided to get takeout Cafe Rio and do build your own taco bar. Dylan went to town on the pork before the rest of us even got to :) I also got some shrimp at Costco, made some guac and Amy brought some fajita veggies and we were set!
YUM!
Balloon pop countdown!
Photo booth equipped with fun props. I love having a Silhouette for easy little things like this.

FAMILY!
We did some lego creations and built "2019" designs.
We also played some Twister, read from our memory jar, played in the basement, did New Year's madlibs, etc.
And to finish off the night, our yummy milk and cookies...
Followed by Martinelli's and a dance party with Taylor Swift, glow balloons and a Netflix countdown at 8pm.
Happy New Year! 2019 is sure to be an exciting one for our family as Grant graduates and we move back across the country again to San Diego!
