This has been a VERY busy month for our growing little boy! I can't believe the changes he's made in a few short weeks.
-finally slept through the night again! I was hoping this was going to be the new normal but unfortunately that did not prove to be the case. He is however down to about one wake up per night instead of 2 most nights, but really likes to begin his day in the 5 o'clock hour which is not cool. My kids do not like to sleep in!
-Doing better about going down for naps. I can generally put him in his crib when he is tired and he will fall asleep with only a couple minutes of fussing.
-loves sweet potatoes, green beans, peas and carrots. He is sitting in his high chair and is feeling more a part of our meal times
-Starting to differentiate mom and dad from others and prefers when one of us hold him but doesn't really have a preference between us
-rolls onto his belly to sleep now
-crawls all over the place and pulls himself up on everything! He does not like to stay still. He went from learning how to sit up to learning to crawl and stand in a matter of about a week! The sitting not crawling stage is one of my favorites and it literally lasted less than a week! Oh well :)
Boden is overall a very happy kid. He'll smile at anyone who will given him attention and has the cutest little laugh. He loves watching Rowan play and giggles at him as much or more than us. It is so fun to see them interacting even though Rowan isn't a fan of him touching his toys (which is difficult now that he's mobile). We tell Rowan to ask us for help if he's getting to close instead of pushing him away and at least 10x a day I see Rowan pushing Boden out of the way while saying, "Mom, please move Boden" :) He's sort of getting it :)
Boden, you're awesome. This is a busy and crazy stage but you are happy and make it fun!
