Christmas cookies!

It's that time of year again and we decided that cookie decorating should be an annual tradition with the Remedios' (well at least 2 years in a row since we won't live near each other next Christmas :(
So, Saturday, we headed to their house with some frosting and sprinkles, ready to decorate. My mom and sent this chef's hat and apron to Rowan last year and we thought this was the perfect occasion to break it in :)
I tried a new frosting recipe which turned out awesome! It used solid coconut oil which added a hint of coconut flavor and made it delicious! Grant couldn't get enough :)
Of course you have to eat as you go...make sure they taste good!
Boden did a great job entertaining himself with the toys so we could frost cookies. He is a the super grabby stage which makes it impossible to do anything like this if you're holding him :)
And then he got to hang out with the big kids...and he clearly enjoyed it. I even gave him a little lick of frosting :)
Joey and Rowan-they enjoyed playing with trucks more than making cookies, but they still had a good time.
That night, Rowan laid out a "picnic blanket" and put all the reindeer around for a cookie picnic. It was so cute!
Merry Christmas!
