This year I worked the day before and after Thanksgiving, so I didn't want to do anything too elaborate, but also couldn't totally neglect this wonderful holiday. We enjoyed a second Thanksgiving with the Remedios Fam and it was perfect. We had Chris, a single marine from church, come join us also. Dom did the turkey again (he likes an excuse to cook meat since Barb doesn't eat it) and we split up the sides. Barb's parents were also in town and her mom made all the pies (pumpkin, pecan and apple) for us. It was all VERY delicious.
It was Boden's first Thanksgiving and although he was a bit fussy for most of dinner he enjoyed his fair share of sweet potatoes :) His behavior just made it a little more difficult for me to get through my meal!
Joey and Rowan played SO well together. The fact that he have full on conversations now is so adorable and there was hardly any fighting at all. Love these boys.
So grateful for good friends to share both normal days and holidays with!
And we started a new "tradition" in letting the boys open Christmas jammies on Thanksgiving night. Great way to kick off the Christmas season. We bought these when we were home...Rowan picked out the winter construction PJs for him and Bo to match :)
I have so much to be grateful for and am glad we had this chance to reflect on our blessings.
