Our December started out right with two Christmas parties in one day. This year has been so fun with Rowan actually old enough to understand a bit about Christmas and have some of the fun anticipation. At Grant's work party he got to see Santa for the first time this season (and didn't love sitting with him, but was much more willing than last year :) You do what you can to get a Santa when you live in a non-Christian country surrounded by military aged people :) Not the most realistic but he didn't care.
We then did some Christmas crafts where Rowan used scissors for the first time, and then played outside in the park for awhile. It was a fun afternoon with good company.
That evening was the church Christmas dinner and party. I had the boys wear their matching outfits which I got when we were home in November...and then I made their ties. When someone asked Rowan where he got his tie he said, "My mom made it". So cute.
We had a delicious dinner followed by some fun singing and some good thoughts on the real meaning of Christmas. It was a fun night with our family and friends! We appreciated all the hard work that was put into making it happen.

So much fun with your little guys.
