This particular day, we drove just down the street to Sharks Cove and did some snorkeling for the morning. It was a beautiful day and we swam with some cool fish and marveled at the coral reef. Grant taking a nap after spending LOTS of time in the water. I swear he would snorkel/float in the water all day if he could.
Our experience in Hawaii wouldn't have been complete without a meal out of a truck, so for lunch we headed across the street to Shark's Cove Grill.
Grant and I shared this ahi kabob platter that was awesome! The summer I lived there we ate a little place called Taste of Paradise probably weekly, and it reminded me a lot of that food. I was so sad to see that place was no longer :(
And the day (and our trip) would not have been complete without another trip to Matsumotos. Just as good as I remember it every single time.
We wanted to find a new beach to play at for the afternoon, so we stayed in Haleiwa and enjoying some time playing in the waves and snorkeling with some turtles. Finally we headed back home, walked down our beach for the last time of this trip and again made some good dinner and enjoyed time together.
Everyone hanging out together in the living room on our last night!

The snorkeling looks awesome and the shaved ice is amazing. mat still taks about it!
