On our way home from Okuma, we decided to drive up to Cape Hedo (the northern most tip of the island). We hadn't made our way up there yet and it was on our Okinawa bucket list. We don't have a ton of time on island left, so wanted to make use of this time since we were already 3/4 of the way there. It rained a good bit on our 30 minute drive up, but then cleared and was pretty nice once we got there which was awesome. It was gorgeous. The water was "mouthwash blue", there were some crashing waves, clear water, pretty green vegetation, etc. All things that I love :) It was truly hard to capture the greatness in photos. The overcast day made us feel like it was a northern California coast.
It was crazy how different the water color was from each different viewpoint depending on the depth of it.
It was overcast but SO bright!
Rowan caught a glimpse of a giant bird statue on our way out and wanted to drive out to it. So we found our way there and realized that you could actually climb up in it ;) So we did...
