I was a little bit undecided about whether or not we wanted to do the elephant park while we were there. We rode elephants in Thailand, we get to pet and feed them here at our zoo, but Dom, Joey and Holly hadn't every ridden them before and after looking at several reviews, this place looked really nice, so we opted to go. Can't pass up hanging out with these awesome animals!
Holly, Boden and I rode on one elephant, which was apparently the largest one in the park. The trainer has been with this elephant for 13 years and works with him everyday which I thought was cool. The park was beautiful and we took a 30 minute walk around.
Rowan was terrified to get on the elephant (he has gotten much more scared of things like this in the last several months)...but as soon as Grant grabbed him and put him on he was SO excited to be riding an elephant and had an amazing time :)
My favorite thing to do is probably feed and pet the elephants, even more than riding them. It's so fun to see their personalities, etc. Such fun animals.
Rowan was way too scared to get in on this photoshoot, but Grant and I decided to get up close and personal with this little one.
The morning ended with a huge buffet (which apparently was DELICIOUS-but I felt so sick at this point that I couldn't even be inside the restaurant looking at or smelling the food). All I wanted to do was sit on the hottest bench I could find and feel like I was baking the sick out of me :) We went home and passed out for a little while after this. Luckily I was medicated enough to be able to enjoy the morning up until this point.
Bali was an amazing trip. I am SO glad that Holly was able to join us too. She had some insane flights (made worse by delays, etc) but we loved having Aunt Holly with us! We had an incredible time together as a family and with great friends. Bali is so affordable, so beautiful and should definitely be on your destination list (especially if you're on this side of the world!)

AMAZING!! I've loved every one of these posts. What an incredible trip!
